Digital Tuesday Challenge - Scallops

What a fun challenge this week at Digital Tuesday! Our wonderful hostess Maria is asking us to use scallops on our cards with a digital image. Oh, I thought, I LOVE scallops. And, I have to make a baby card.... scallops are just perfect for baby cards.

I had a wonderful set that our sponsor My Grafico let us play with but I just could not make it work. I'm like that sometime.... I have a stamp that I absolutely love but, for whatever reason, I cannot make a card with it. Do you have stamps like that? So, after a few attemps....

I pulled out this wonderful Sleepytime Fairy from Michelle Perkett. I love her designs and she's become one of my go-to artists when I need an image that I know will color up well and look fantastic on a card. And, she's having a 50% off sale this week so I just had to pick up a few items! I added a little bit of Barely Banana cardstock and some Pink Pirouette. I like to keep baby cards relatively clean and simple so there's no dp, just a lot of pin-dots and lots of scallops. Voila with a couple of ribbons, one of my new Prima roses and the sentiment from SU.

I'm so happy with how this turned out! I hope the mom-to-be will love it too.
